When Micah and Michael talked about marriage, they also discussed how his PKD would impact their future children.

With PKD in Michael’s family, they had concerns about passing the disease onto the next generation. Working with a geneticist, Micah discovered ways to ensure a PKD-free future for their children. The couple used IVF and PGT-M to have four healthy PKD-free children.

pkDO is pleased to share their family’s story. We work with families everywhere to share awareness and fund those who are looking to end PKD in their family.
